The Vanitas Cabernet Sauvignon is aged 22 months in 100% new French oak. An opaque purple hue matches the incredibly dense layered dark fruit of this powerful wine. Blackberry, boysenberry, plumb, cassis and mocha aromas are followed by subtle notes of anise, tobacco, and baking spice. A deeply structured palate with graceful tannins and an inordinately lingering finish with wet stone and mint as a parting aromatic gift.
