Billecart-Salmon Le Rosé 2015 750ml

Historically, the only vintage dated Brut Rose that Billecart has EVER released has been their Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon, which was only bottled in the most exceptional of vintages, and none too easy to find! Today, we’re thrilled to announce their second-ever release of a new addition to their vintage Rosé lineup: The 2015 Brut Rosé.

The first release was the 2010 vintage, and much like that this very limited release is a declassified version of their famed Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon Brut Rosé, which means outrageous quality at half the normal price of $250! Essentially, they were planning to make their Elisabeth Salmon, but decided the wine wasn’t quite good enough to meet their exacting standards, so they decided to call it a vintage rose instead. You have all the same sourcing, aging, and rarity as the Elisabeth Salmon, for half the price!

A blend of 52% Chardonnay and 48% Pinot Noir, the 2015 Brut Rosé spent over 8 years on the lees (98 months, to be precise), and has trademark Billecart elegance paired with powerfully fresh fruit and a gorgeous richness from the extended lees aging.
